Jacob Blankenship owns the business strategy, product development, and marketing for RogueDB. With a B.S. of Computer Science from The Citadel, Jacob brings extensive experience from industry for RTS and HPC systems for cloud and on-premise deployments. He has directed, architected, and implemented enterprise solutions at startups, Fortune 200, government, and federal contracting. Key areas of focus included performance optimizations and technical debt reduction through systematic, organization wide change in processes, tooling, and modernization efforts.
Core tenants of his approach are simplicity, objectivity, and data driven decision making grounded in customer needs through proactive customer engagement throughout solution development. He has delivered multiple technical solutions resulting in 8-figure product ROIs, 7-figure ARO reductions, and 6-figure engineer hour reductions. As a result, organizations have experienced transformational maturity in their processes to deliver high value solutions consistently.
